Thermocouple Temperature Sensor
The Thermocouple Temperature Sensor is used for measuring temperature in concrete, soil and rock including:
- Monitoring temperature evolution during concrete curing
- Monitoring seasonal variations of temperature within the ground and structures
- Interpretation of temperature related stress and volume changes in mass concrete structures
- Determination of critical moment for injecting of joints within mass concrete structures, such as concrete dams and storage tank bases
- Low cost temperature monitoring instrument
- Reasonably accurate, fast response, with good long-term stability
- Suitable for either manual or data-logged reading
- Lightweight cable for easy handling
- Cable not suitable for use in deformable materials
- 100m cable lengths possible
- Range: -10 to +100°C
