Company

In 2002, Instrumentation, Testing and Monitoring Ltd (ITM) acquired Soil Instruments Ltd, a leading international manufacturer of geotechnical instrumentation for over 40 years and ITM's major UK competitor. Both ITM and Soil Instruments will continue to function as separate operating companies within a new group structure called ITM-Soil Limited.

Concluded near the end of July 2002, the acquisition combines ITM's contracting skills with Soil Instrument's long-established manufacturing experience.

In 2007 ITM-Soil Ltd purchased Interfels, the instrumentation division of Boart Longyear. The acquisition increases ITM-Soil’s geotechnical manufacturing and service base, bringing not only specialist products such as Argus monitoring software and the incremental extensometer INCREX, but also experienced employees and a new factory based in Bad Bentheim, Germany.

ITM-Soil Pty Ltd was established in Perth in 2004 to service distributors and customers in the Asian, Australasian and Pacific region. With such a wealth of experience and close relationship with manufacturers, ITM-Soil offer world class products with local service and support.
